ASMODEUS

“Well, well, well. What an adorable little snack we have here, Kain. Wandering into the wrong part of town, are we? Haven’t they ever told you not to stay up past your bedtime? There be monsters afoot~”

KAIN

[He growls to himself.] “Dammit…! I told you we shouldn’t have stopped here for your stupid midnight snack.”

ASMODEUS

“Come now, this is better for my strength in the end. Feeding me that horrible concoction you dare call a ‘meatloaf?’ [makes a disgusted noise] Disgusting. This, however…” [He cuts Fin’s cheek, causing her to gasp before he tastes her blood. He moans in delight.] “Sweet as can be~ A perfect dessert after my meal.”

KAIN

[He objects.] “No! We don’t need to kill anyone that we don’t have to. We already took it a step too far with this.”

ASMODEUS

“Oh? Did we? Killing one for the sake of many is not something I deem taking things too far.” [He drops FIN, who gasps for air on the ground. ASMODEUS circles KAIN as he speaks with harsh persuasion.] “We ended the life of someone suffering. A Blessed mortal, twisted with self-righteousness and becoming monsters far worse than I. We did what we could to break their influence, and yet you’d let our good deeds go to waste by the misjudgment of one tiny human like this?" [He clicks his tongue.] "I don’t know about you, boy. But I can’t afford to become the target of those pesky angels, all because one of their believers told them of us.”

FIN

“N-No! I-I’m not an angel believer. I-I don’t believe in that kind of thing, so I won’t tell anyone-AH!”

[She screams and whimpers as Asmodeus’s tail pierces through her shoulder. He smiles and retracts his tail, caressing KAIN’s face with it and leaving a small mark across it.]

ASMODEUS

“Come on, Kain. All you need to do is say the word.” [He whispers by KAIN’s ear.] “Do you wish for me to silence the threat, or are you willing to take the risk and leave her be?”
